The Phantom of the Opera V2.0 – The Farewell Edition!

In light of recent news, I’ve finally returned to my Minifigure Scale Series after over a year and a half of working on other series. Without further ado, meet ‘The Phantom of the Opera V2.0 – The Farewell Edition’, commemorating not only the monumental 35-year run of the original Broadway production coming to a close next February, but also the legendary era of unparalleled genius by the one and only Hal Prince! Upon the original Broadway production of Phantom closing, Broadway and New York will be absent of any Hal Prince production, both his innumerable original productions and reimagined revivals under his wing. In fact, there will only be one Hal Prince production left playing in the whole world, namely the similarly long-running Japanese ‘touring’ sitdowns of his original Phantom, which has been running continuously since 1988, the same year the production opened on Broadway. However, I’m very glad that the Broadway production gets to close with a bang and with dignity in its mostly-untouched iconic original form instead of being forced to go down a less than savory route like another production of the show I won’t mention. This model features many major and minor changes and improvements to previous versions to make this recreation even more hyperaccurate, hyperdetailed, and ultrarealistic than ever before – and now I’m finally happy with it!
