Kennedy Center Multi-Model – Ultramicro Architecture Series

So this is maybe the craziest model I’ve ever built? Anywho, here's the iconic national landmark, DC’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, created at the ultramicro architecture scale. This large fully-buildable (with custom decals), multi-model recreation has four roof trap doors, which when opened/removed reveal the interiors and intricacies of six theaters and productions in the complex. Fun fact: at this ultramicro scale, people are only a tiny 0.8 studs (0.252in/6.4mm) tall! The complex is hosting a hypothetical festival called “The Best of All Possible Worlds: A Celebration of Opera on Broadway”, featuring six legendary, revolutionary pieces of opera from the Broadway musical theatre canon alongside some more seldom-produced but equally striking pieces, one of which has yet to hit Broadway (but has been produced in concert at Carnegie Hall). Enjoy (I most certainly do)!
